2013-2014 Season

Board Positions - Boys Vice President, Treasurer & Secretary positions will be open at conclusion of this season. These positions are vital to the continued success of Vernon Lacrosse. The Board meets once/month throughout  the year.

CVYL & CVGYL Representatives - Looking for a representative for the boys and girls league. This person would be responsible for going to the league meetings and reporting back to the Vernon Board. (Roughly 6 meetings year)

Fundraiser Coordinator - Looking for someone to handle fundraising duties. New ideas are encouraged.

Signs - Looking for volunteer to put out yard signs and large signs (multiple locations throughout town that we can utilize) to promote Vernon Lacrosse and announce registration dates 2 or 3 times/year

Coaches - We will need boys/girls coaches and assistant coaches. US Lacrosse training will be provided.

Equipment/Uniform helper - (1 person / team) Distribute uniforms and equipment at start of season and collect at end of season

Referees - We are always looking for adults to officiate boys and girls games. Referees are paid to work games and adult referees are helpful at the older age groups. US Lacrosse has certification classes each year. Think about how many times you have been annoyed by the officiating at a game, now you can change things.

Girls Equipment Manager - Distribute equipment to teams and assist with inventory. Alert league to items that are needed.

Fall / Winter

Off season coordinator - VLA is looking for someone that wants to run fall / winter lacrosse. Responsible for determining interest and organizing team(s)

Coaches / Managers - VLA will need coaches and managers for fall lacrosse and winter lacrosse if there is interest in those programs.
